Proxy of Control

NOWNESS Asia · Premiere forthcoming, 2026

Jerome Wu’s game-engine film follows the moral gaze that an East Asian train turns on a body it has decided is not tired enough to sit. The priority seat becomes a courtroom with no judge — only a carriage of strangers enforcing an expectation nobody wrote down.

Built inside a real-time engine and shot in VR, the film sits between machinima, animation and cinema, letting an interior state become architecture the viewer can move through. It premieres on NOWNESS Asia.
